Job Summary:
KEMET Electronics is seeking a technician to work in the KEMET training department in the Tantalum Innovation Center located in Simpsonville, SC. The technician will provide support for KEMET’s trainee directed learning (TDL) certification system. This position interfaces in a team environment with manufacturing, human resources, engineering, and quality department personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Training and Certification
The selected candidate for this position must be available to conduct and monitor training for all employees on all production lines and all shifts.
They will be required to assist in scheduling and monitoring training to meet required timelines.
They will administer initial certifications, recertifications, and training reviews.
Documentation and Audits
This position requires the creation and maintenance of training guides and workbooks.
This position will include the administration of KEMET’s on-line documentation, or KTrain System, to maintain individuals’ training records and history.
This position requires keeping the ICT personnel and documentation audit ready and may include participation in audits.
Communication
This position requires good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact with a variety of personnel and departments.
They will work closely with process engineering regarding training documentation as new process steps/documentation is created and implemented which may include the need for conducting training classes.
Skills
Computer Skills - Microsoft Office efficient.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to multitask to meet required schedules and deadlines.
