Insurance Agent
Duties:
- Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses
- Develop and maintain a client base through networking, referrals, and cold calling
- Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options
- Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients' requirements
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues
- Analyze insurance policies and provide clients with accurate and detailed information
- Negotiate insurance terms and premiums on behalf of clients
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance policies
Skills:
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele
- Strong analytical skills to assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Excellent customer service skills to provide personalized assistance to clients
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and premiums for clients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance when handling sensitive client information
- Experience in outside sales or insurance sales is preferred
- Proficient in sales administration techniques, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals
- Familiarity with telemarketing strategies to reach potential clients over the phone
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it allows for better communication with a wider range of clients
