Role: Maintenance Specialist

The Maintenance Specialist role at Kennedy Industries requires excellent communication, teamwork, and rapport, by working with all shop personnel in a team environment. A Maintenance Specialist is an entry-level position with room for advancement.

Under direct supervision, the candidate will learn and perform various skilled duties, including sandblasting, coating, painting, and building maintenance. Candidate must be dependable, have a positive attitude, willing to learn, be interested in working with a service-oriented mindset, and have excellent organizational skills.

Candidate must be competent in using heavy machinery and be able to follow all safety precautions.

Essential Functions

• Customer interaction (when receiving equipment)

• Sandblasting, coating, power washing, and painting

• Building maintenance, snow maintenance, and cleaning

• Work safely and maintain a safe/clean work area

• Learning machine operation and capabilities of multiple machines

• Performing accurate inspections of product

• Assisting other employees when needed

• Conduct quality checks on products

• Minor machine maintenance

• Inspection and cleaning of machines

• Operate overhead cranes and Hi-Lo’s

• Pickup and delivery

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement 18

• Willing to learn and be organized

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays, and weekends

• Standard weekly job hours: 40 - 50 hours

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
