POSITION: Assistant Drama Club Advisor
REPORTS TO: Principal
Kennett High School is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Drama Club Advisor. The successful candidate will work closely with the Drama Club Advisor to support and enhance the overall experience of students participating in the drama club. This is a part-time, temporary position, ideal for someone with a strong background in theater, education, or a related field.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES *subject to change*
- Assists with all drama club productions
- Emphasis on choreography
- Assists with props and costumes
- Attends all rehearsals and productions for each show at Kennett High School
- Assists cast members during rehearsal. Helps in leading some aspects, supporting other, working with different groups as necessary
- During tech week works as a process observer to ensure smooth integration in the show
- Assists/supports supervision of students during rehearsals and productions to ensure student safety
- Assists in lighting and sound design
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Stipend per Appendix D of the CEA negotiated agreement
