Description
The assistant is responsible for the health, safety, welfare, and personal growth of each child. Assists Lead Teacher with creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans for ages 2-31/2.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old but can be 17 with DPI course
- Ability to provide proof of current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must meet Wisconsin state licensing qualification as Assistant Teacher as minimum certification
- Experience working with children
- Willingness to learn state licensing child care regulations and procedures for Group Day Care Centers.
- Ability to work cooperatively with youth, parents, staff and community organizations
- Joy and satisfaction in working with children
- Ability to work with general supervision.
