Mortgage Loan Processor
JOB SUMMARY:
Works directly with loan officers preparing mortgage loan packages; this entails the following: orders and reviews title opinions, orders appraisals, works directly with borrower(s), insurance agents, and closing agents, follow-up with borrower and/or Loan Officer at pre-closing and/or post-closing for any outstanding items and/or issues, data entry into multiple programs and software, creates closing disclosures, documentation creation, reviews payoff quotes, income documents, insurance policies, and any other documentation required before funding; ensures package adheres to internal guidelines, tracks recorded mortgages, maintains the mortgage schedule, prepares loan funding needs spread sheet monthly to send to Credit Administration Officer, maintains rate sheets; loan clerk duties when assigned.
Employee is responsible for compliance with all rules and related regulations for the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC. Failure to comply with these and other Federal, State and Local Laws and Regulations could be cause for disciplinary action(s) up to and including termination.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
50% Preparing loan packages
20% Communicating with loan officers
15% Escrow
5% Ordering/Reviewing title opinions and appraisals
5% Communicating with insurance companies, county clerks, attorney, etc
5% Copying necessary documentation for loan files
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be responsible, friendly, courteous and have good communication skills. Must be able to work well with the public as well as fellow employees. Loan Processors must have knowledge of various mortgage products and regulations in order to prepare loan packages. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is not required but recommended.
SUPERVISOR:
Mortgage Loan Processor reports to the Credit Administration Officer.

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
