JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Cash Posting Clerk is to control all applications made to customers’ accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2. Lead Cash Posting Clerks with projects and posting duties as assigned.
3. Research and file all needed documents for Unapplied Payment Notices.
4. Generates and maintains Cash Posting files and records.
5. Assists Cashier as needed.
6. Assists receptionist with directing phone calls as needed.
7. Mandatory overtime on the last business day of the month for month-end
closing.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Experience in cash posting and or accounts receivable or payable desired.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, s/he will work at a desk in an office setting, doing paperwork, typing, filing, and key entry on a Video Display Terminal. For part of the shift, s/he will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. S/he will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. S/he will have to move boxes that are at least 35 lbs.
