What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Resources Planner I/II/III position at Kern County Water Agency?

This position will participate in planning, developing and implementing water management programs, projects and contracts to meet the water supply needs of Kern County.

All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental studies, engineering or related field with applicable coursework.

  • Six months of experience in a related or unrelated field required for the I level;
  • Two (2) years of increasing responsibility performing business, environmental, engineering or planning-related functions for the II level; and
  • Four (4) years of increasing responsibility performing business, environmental, engineering or planning-related functions for the III level.

Pay: $37.87 - $65.47 per hour
