Qualifications
A minimum of years’ experience performing grading work, including mass earthwork, loading hauling vehicles, grading for roads, curbs, walks, foundations, and other surfaces
Hands-on motivated leader for the crew.
Demonstrate an ability to organize, control and manage all areas of the grading operation.
Knowledge of materials, equipment, methods, and techniques used in road construction.
Knowledge of possible defects and faults in work and of stages where such faults and defects are determined.
Ability to understand and interpret terms and specifications of contracts.
Ability to conduct effective grading inspections for compliance.
Ability to calculate figures and mathematical concepts.
Understanding of DOT and site projects.
Understand work orders and recognize discrepancies.
