Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $24.50 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. About the role
Shift: 2nd shift 11am-7pm Monday through Friday $1.50 Shift Differential
RESPONSIBILITIES:
¬ Perform sensory, physical, chemical, and / or instrumental evaluation of raw material, in process, or finished products following SOP and specifications.
¬ Expedite evaluation process and final disposition and provide information to production.
¬ Develop and maintain raw material and finished product specifications.
¬ Trouble shoots quality problems in production.
¬ Participate in the development of special processes to improve quality.
¬ Generate data for Certificates of analysis.
¬ Participate in test panels.
¬ Maintain laboratory data, files, supplies, and calibrate equipment on a regular schedule as well as maintaining GMP's.
¬ Work on the corrective actions of any customer complaints / issues.
¬ Follows all quality, safety, and company protocols & procedures.
¬ Sample pulls 40lbs or less.
What You'll Need To Be Successful and Safe
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and experience in a lab setting running chemistry tests
Food industry experience is highly desirable.
Minimum 0-2 years of experience
High School Diploma/GED required.
