About the jobThe consumer marketing team supports growth of KeyBank's consumer product suite by developing strategic marketing programs aligned to business goals and objectives, while also maintaining responsibility for marketing operations, inclusive of risk and control management and procedures. The senior marketing consultant leads marketing execution and risk-related tasks as assigned / as necessary, and partners with consumer marketing team leadership to understand and support organizational priorities. The senior marketing consultant may direct the work of others and brings an innovative, growth mindset to enhance overall team performance.Essential job functionsUses knowledge of marketing principles to provide recommendations on use of tactics to achieve both marketing and business objectives to obtain maximum returns.Develops and obtains approval on marketing project briefs.Understands and supports learning agendas and test plan approaches.Incorporates marketing best practices and insights from prior campaign results into plans.Reviews and provides feedback for creative treatments.Partner with product partners to build strong relationships rooted in trust and shared business goalsCoordinates with internal and external business partners including line of business partners, analytics, creative services, agencies, compliance, and leadership to develop and define an effective marketing plan.Supports marketing planning and execution for assigned product line(s) while adhering to established procedures.Identifies opportunities to delegate work to team members, fostering growth of those around them.Effectively recognizes and escalates potential risk. Have a handle on all team control procedures, testing, and processes where applicable.Follows established processes and thinks of new ways to perform work while effectively managing risk.Provide timely and effective communication to team members to ensure awareness and commitment to department initiatives.Ability to interact with and communicate effectively with leadership, within the team as well as across other LOBs.Actively leads (where appropriate) and participates in team sessions.Supports resolution of critical issues and ensures a proper control environment is in place while adhering to procedures.Assist in development of MBR and QBR decks, as well as Sprint Reviews and Sprint Planning.Working with vendor partners to develop and maintain relationships and align to strategies, while keeping a pulse on marketing spend and budget.Required qualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent work experience5-7 years of experience in marketing, advertising agency or project managementKnowledge of managing the end-to-end marketing campaign processPreferred qualificationsExperience working in a highly regulated industryExperience with compliance and or risk managementPersonal competenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyHigh ethical standardOpen-mindedJob Posting Expiration Date : 01 / 31 / 2025
