Restaurant Cashier

```Job Summary``` We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently processing their transactions. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. ```Responsibilities``` - Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service - Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system - Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services - Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels - Follow all food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations ```Requirements``` - Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred - Knowledge of basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Familiarity with retail math concepts, such as calculating discounts and sales tax - Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Experience using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus - Knowledge of the food industry or culinary background is beneficial We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within our organization.
