Process Engineering and Quality Manager

The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight’s campus Colorado Springs, CO exists to provide high precision mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight’s industry leading electronic measurement equipment.

As Process Engineering & Quality Manager you will lead a high-performance team consisting of process engineers supporting both machining and wet processes along with a metrology team consisting of quality technicians.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees responsible for design and implementation of manufacturing process as well as ensuring manufacturing quality
• Manages resources to implement tactical business plans and programs/projects
• Develops, implements solutions to department issues
• Work across departments to ensure a safe workplace
• Creates short and long term personnel development strategies
• Leads cross departmental projects
• Review, analyze and approve process changes or deviations as appropriate
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or University Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent
• At least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
• Requires proven skills in leading/managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics
• Experience with manufacturing process design, development and implementation
• Direct experience with continuous process improvement a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of ISO9001 and or AS9100 a plus
  
  

Experience In Any Or All The Following Is Preferred

• Machining-5 axis milling, turn and mill machines, and Swiss turning
• Heat treating operations
• Plating operations
• Precision Metrology equipment (CMM, Interferometry, Laser)

Colorado pay range: MIN $124,950.00, MIDPOINT $166,600.00 - MAX $208,250.00
