Housekeeping (Janitor)Location: Brownstown, MIRole SummaryKeystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is seeking a Janitor / Housekeeping Associate to support our warehouse and distribution center in Brownstown, MI. This role is critical to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary industrial facility that supports daily warehouse operations.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical cleaning and custodial duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you take pride in keeping facilities clean and safe and want long-term growth with a stable employer, this role is for you. Responsibilities Include:As a Janitor, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of the office, warehouse, and common areas, including but not limited to:Clean, sanitize, and disinfect restrooms, offices, break rooms, warehouse floors, carpets, rugs, walls, windows, and doorsPerform industrial and warehouse cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removalDisinfect high-touch surfaces such as desks, door handles, tools, phones, and shared equipmentEmpty and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with company and local guidelinesRemove debris from sidewalks, entrances, and exterior areasMonitor facility conditions and report unsafe conditions, spills, damage, or unusual occurrences to leadershipMaintain inventory of cleaning chemicals, tools, and supplies; request replenishment as neededFollow OSHA, PPE, and safety standards at all timesInteract professionally with employees, vendors, and contractorsAssist with light maintenance, painting, sanding, or special cleaning projects as assignedPerform other housekeeping or facilities duties as requiredQualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience as a Janitor, Custodian, Housekeeper, or Facilities Maintenance Associate preferred (warehouse or industrial setting a plus)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safetyAbility to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkersWillingness to work flexible or variable schedules, including weekends as neededPainting and sanding experience is a plus, but not requiredPhysical Demands/Work Environment:This position involves physical labor in a warehouse/industrial environment:Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach for extended periodsAbility to push, pull, and lift up to 75 pounds occasionallyMay work in cramped spaces, under equipment, or in awkward positionsExposure to dust, chemicals, cleaning agents, noise, and varying temperaturesRequired use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Occasional travel may be required, including overnight stays, depending on business needsWhy Join Keystone Automotive Operations?We are committed to creating a positive, people-first workplace.
