We have an outstanding, full-time opportunity for an Executive Assistant in our office located in downtown Scranton. This is an excellent opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join a successful firm, offering challenging work within a professional legal practice. The Executive Assistant should have a high level of poise, polish, and professionalism, with an approachable, confident attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full administrative support to the firm’s Partner, including calendar management, scheduling meetings and events, making travel arrangements, and providing administrative support
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and filing documents
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and proofreading
- Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; some college preferred
- Must have at least 3 years of experience as an executive assistant in a professional office setting
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Familiarity with office equipment such as phone systems and fax machines
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
