What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Coordinator position at Keystone Powdered Metal Company?
Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a world leader in design and manufacturing of innovative powdered metal parts and assemblies, has an opening for a Shipping Coordinator at our facility in St. Mary’s, PA. The hours would be from 7 am -3 pm, with some overtime required.
Responsibilities:
Routes all outgoing shipments through various means of transportation
Completes Bill of Ladings, Air Bills and ASN’s
Maintains warehouse shipments and inventory
Types export papers and cargo invoices to accompany shipments
Maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Communicates with Shipping Supervisor, Leadoff, other department members, Quality, Sales and Engineering.
Setup and maintain customer portals
Works with trucking companies, account managers, quality personnel and outsourcing personnel to efficiently supply the customer’s production
Maintain UPS System, labels and label machines.
Qualifications:
Good computer skills, knowledge of LN/BAAN System preferred.
Knowledge of parts and customers
Very detailed orientated
Excellent communication skills
