ROLE SUMMARY
Key Responsibilities (what AUMs do) Is quick to see core issues in complex situations and energizes the team by encouraging discussion of “what’s possible” and setting breakthrough targets
Know How Builder -Seeks continuous feedback from different sources to improve their own performance Executes success routines effectively Coaches and drives excellence around core operations procedures on each of their shifts (e.g., shift accountability, product projections, Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) spending, Cost of Sales/Cost of Labor (COS/COL) controls
People Grower Champions and role models How We Win Together (HWWT2) and Achieving Breakthrough Results (ABR) culture within their store Uses technology (e.g., Hiring Zone, Learning Zone) regularly to help the RGM build and retain strong teams Role models and coaches using the EARS Model (Explore, Analyze, Respond and Making it Stick) to help build the capability of their team Partners with the RGM in completing and executing the bench plan process Holds employees accountable by using the Performance management process Recognizes employees for exceptional performance using CHAMPS cards to reinforce breakthrough results Demonstrates positive energy at all times
Action Driver Role models customer mania and demonstrates a passion for winning by execution on the following standards on each of their shifts: CHAMPS , CFF evaluations and projections Goes for breakthrough results by partnering with the RGM to analyze the financial performance of their restaurant to understand trends and how their restaurant compares with competitors (strive to be best on block) Partners with RGM to ensure staffing levels are in place to grow top line sales Ensures restaurant plans and marketing initiatives are in place and being implemented
Intentionality to Lead - Focuses the team on solving problems rather than reacting to them. Takes advantage of every opportunity, both formal and informal, to enhance their leadership skills Is committed to helping others grow and develop in their role
Other Requirements :
· Arrive at work on time
· Flexible scheduling
· Follows procedures regarding operation of restaurant equipment (including fryers, ovens, etc)
· Regular access to personal vehicle
· Able to lift up to 25lbs and carry up to 30 feet
· Able to push/pull up to 90lbs up to 30 feet
· Able to stand and walk for a majority of work shift
· Follows KFC cash handling safety and security procedures
· Adheres to KFC and City/State/United States safety requirements
· Knowledge of and compliance with KFC’s Human Resource policies and procedures.
