Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure in Miami, FL (Florida).
Summary:
The Senior Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and maintaining the organization's global network operations, technology, and services through modern software engineering practices. This role focuses on ensuring the efficient development, automation, and continuous operation of network infrastructure, including cloud environments. The Senior Manager will leverage software-driven methodologies such as network automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to simplify, standardize, and optimize global network operations. This role will develop and execute initiatives to simplify, standardize and optimize network operations methods and tools to reduce cycle times and increase security, availability, service agility, user experience and alignment of Client's networks.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage engineering teams to develop innovative network and automation solutions
* Oversee the design and development of network tools, APIs, and platforms using TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern frameworks
* Collaborate with stakeholders, and cross-functional leaders to align engineering efforts with business objectives
* Drive the technical roadmap for network architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
* Establish development standards and best practices, fostering a high-performance engineering culture
* Manage engineering budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring the successful delivery of projects
* Guide teams through complex network troubleshooting and optimization challenges
* Mentor and grow engineering talent, ensuring career development and employee satisfaction
* Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new technologies and methodologies to the organization
* Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols to safeguard network infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in network engineering
* 5 years of experience managing and leading engineering teams
* Exceptional leadership skills to manage, motivate, and align engineering teams
* Strategic mindset to connect technical solutions with business goals
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence across functions and senior leadership
* Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies
* Expertise in TypeScript, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and modern software development practices
* Strong knowledge of network protocols, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure
* Experience with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
* Deep understanding of network security practices and compliance frameworks
* Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decision-making at the executive level
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
