What You’ll Do:
- Be the go-to support for patients managing conditions like migraines, MS, epilepsy, Parkinson’s, and more
- Perform thorough patient assessments and prep for specialized neurological exams & procedures (EMG, EEG, lumbar punctures, etc.)
- Administer injections, medications, and assist with treatment plans
- Educate and empower patients and families with information on medications, treatments, and disease management
- Help streamline prior authorizations and follow-ups with efficiency and empathy
- Partner closely with neurologists, techs, and the care team to ensure smooth, exceptional care
- Play an active role in ongoing clinical research initiatives
What You Bring to the Table:
- RN license in good standing (State of CT)
- BLS certification; IV certification and or equivalent experience necessary
- Neurology or specialty office experience preferred—but a passion for learning goes a long way!
- Strong communication skills with a “patients-first” attitude
- Comfort with EMRs and multitasking in a fast-moving environment
