Description
Job Purpose: Perform work involving two or more maintenance skills to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or structure of the casino in repair.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Dismantle and reassemble defective machines and equipment.
- Install new and repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Install and/or repair wiring and electrical and electronic components.
- Assembles, install, and/or repair plumbing.
- Paints and repair woodwork and plaster.
- Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Record repairs made and costs.
- Promptly reports low supplies and equipment problems to Property Supervisor.
- Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
Physical Requirements:
- Walking, or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping.
- Frequent lift and/or move up to 100lbs and push, pull, or drag.
- Be able to reach, bend, and climb ladders and stoop.
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and airborne fumes or airborne particles, including secondhand smoke.
- Noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.
- Flexible hours (weekends, nights, holidays)
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
- A valid driver’s license.
- One year experience in repair and maintenance of commercial building.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures, and buildings.
- Knowledge of basic work maintenance practices; tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices, and their uses to produce motion, light, power, technology, and other applications.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and staff.
- Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibili
- Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License.
