What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Aide position at Kid Central- Child Care Center?
Purpose of Position
An Aide will assist the head teacher where needed and will be working with kids ages 2yrs - 3 yrs throughout the classrooms. An Aide will contribute in keeping Kid Central a place for the children and staff to be successful, safe, and an effective place for all to grow.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting up for meal time
- Supervising children while at play
- Assisting or monitoring with diapering or toileting
- Setting up for nap time
- Daily cleaning and sanitation of classroom
- Helping in other classrooms as needed.
Requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Current Food Handlers
- Current in the Central Background Registry
- Enrolled in the Oregon Childcare Registry
- Child Abuse and Neglect training
- Introduction to Childcare Health and Safety training
- Infant Safe Sleep training
- Obtain 15 hours of continued education each year
- Preferred 1 year experience in child care or early childhood education
- Must be patient, loving, gentle, playful, happy, reliable, honest, and a team player
Position: Full-Time Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:30
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

- Monmouth, OR: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
