Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Working in alignment with the state Creative Curriculum, Professional Development, and schedule.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through observation and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
- Engage in effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Facilitate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities through hands-on learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
Skills/Required Credentials
- Bachelors Degree with P-3 certification or going alternate route to secure P-3. Strong background in early childhood education with preschool experience preferred.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, private schools, or Montessori environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with tutoring methods and teaching physical education is an asset.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs including special education requirements.
