Floating Teacher

Kids At Heart Learning Center aims to hire an eager passionate Teacher! We hope to welcome a candidate who is creative, energetic, dedicated, reliable, fun, and innovative! Our Teachers work closely with the director and their co-teachers to create a caring and safe environment for the children

Responsibilities:

- Provide loving care and developmentally appropriate education to children ages 3 Years- 5 Years (Must be comfortable working with children from 6 weeks-12 years)
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for Preschool-kindergarten students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons that promote learning and development
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere
- Foster a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods
- Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Promote literacy education and language development in young learners

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting
- Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an engaging learning environment
- Knowledge of child welfare and the ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with parents/guardians, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Patience, empathy, and understanding to meet the diverse needs of young learners
- Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

- Must have obtained a minimum of a high school diploma or educational equivalent

-2 years experience working with children 3 years-5 years of age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
