Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a respectful and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess student progress through observations, assessments, and feedback to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive learning environment for students with special education needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of special education practices and literacy education strategies.
- Experience in daycare settings or private school environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning across various subjects including math and preschool education.
