We are seeking mystery shoppers to perform market research for our pediatric dental practices in the greater Sacramento area, the Bay Area, and the Central Valley. The mystery shoppers will be 1099 Independent Contractors and provide services on an intermittent basis as needed by the organization. The assignment will focus on collecting, and providing back to the organization, market research through the entire dental visit, from the initial scheduling of the appointment through the actual appointment. The mystery shoppers will evaluate the quality of the services provided, the interactions with the team member and the experience provided to the patients and their families. Due to the nature of our business and the role of this position, the mystery shopper needs to be an adult with a child between the ages of 5-12 that can accompany them on the visit.
Job Description:
Job Title: Remote Mystery Shopper (1099 Independent Contractor, Part-Time)
Location: Remote (Work from anywhere)
Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)
Compensation: $25 - $100 per assignment
The mystery shopper will pose as a parent of potential patient, visiting the assigned practice to evaluate the quality of service, patient interaction, and overall experience from the perspective of a parent or guardian scheduling and bringing their child for an appointment. In general, the mystery shopper will assess factors like staff demeanor, explanation of procedures, comfort level with young patients, and cleanliness of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Gather data on how well the dental practice caters to children, identifying areas for improvement in patient care and communication with young patients and their parents.
Evaluation points:
- Initial contact: How the team members on the phone greets and interacts with the caller when scheduling an appointment.
- Check-in process: Friendliness and attentiveness of front desk team members upon arrival, comfort level provided to the child.
- Back office environment: Child-friendly decor, age-appropriate distractions, explanation of procedures in easy-to-understand terms.
- Dental Assistant interaction: How the Dental Assistant interacts with the child and parent, explaining procedures and addressing any anxieties.
- Dentist interaction: Clear communication with the parent, addressing concerns, providing treatment options tailored to the child's needs.
- Overall experience: Patient satisfaction, perceived level of care, and willingness to recommend the practice to others.
