We are seeking an energetic, computer savvy, pediatric medical assistant/extern to join our team! We are a fast-paced pediatric office that provides both general pediatric & pediatric endocrinology care.

Responsibilities:
- Injection/medication administration, vision screening, health screening review, vitals, point of care diagnostic/screening tests **, nebulizer treatments, maintenance of electronic medical records, scanning, faxing, maintaining clean & stocked patient/work environment, communicating with collaborating physicians/specialists, educating patients, medication refills, scheduling appts, reviewing lab tests & medical records w/follow-up, care plan mgmt, obtaining authorizations/referrals, inventory maintenance, other assistance to medical team as needed,
** sars-cov-2, strep, lead, u/a’s, flu, HbA1c, lipid panels, glucose, rsv, mono, spirometry, etc
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport with patients and work with diverse populations
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Pre-med/nursing/dental/pharm student, or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking) preferred, not required
