What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Preschool Teacher position at Kids of Mount Sinai?
Do you love working with young children and helping them learn, play, and grow? Kids of Mount Sinai is looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our amazing early childhood team! This is a Monday-Friday 8am-4pm position with additional hours and advancement opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the lead teachers in daily classroom activities and routines
- Cover breaks in classrooms of various ages
- Help create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment for all children
- Encourage social, emotional, and academic development through play and structured learning
- Assist with crafts, games, and outdoor play
- Communicate positively with children, parents, and staff
