We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Receptionist/Front Desk for our Tampa locations. In this customer service oriented role, you will be on the front-line of answering calls and scheduling appointments for patients. Scheduling coordinators answer calls in a friendly, welcoming, and timely manner, schedule appointments for various locations and programs, verify demographic information, and execute registration duties.
Job Summary
We are looking for an outgoing, energetic Dental Front Desk/Receptionist to join our large dental practice! This position will be responsible for greeting patients, checking them in, verifying insurance, and confirming appointments. The ideal applicant must be a self-starter, have a great ability to multitask, and is able to work great in a team environment!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greeting patients and guests in an upbeat and friendly manner.
- Assisting patients with any scheduling needs.
- Working with patients to schedule appointments on a cloud based system.
- Verifying patient insurance.
- Confirming future appointments.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Comfortable collecting copays and money due.
- Working on accounts receivable as needed.
- Discuss finances with patients and/or parent.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in dental office setting experience is a strong plus.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability and drive to work independently.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Good Communication skills with advanced computer skills is a must.
- Excellent Customer Service is a must.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
