What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Kids Stop?
We are looking for a person who is responsible and attentive, and someone who truly enjoys spending time with children and working in a classroom environment. Our class sizes are small, and we're looking for a Preschool Teacher who can help engage children and help them grow and learn.
Responsibilities:
- Use developmentally appropriate teaching methods.
- Love children and understand that they learn differently from adults.
- Know how to help children relax and feel confident in themselves.
- Know how to respond to children when they're upset, distracted, scared, sad, or angry.
- Encourage children to take risks and try new things.
- Recognize when a child has a problem and knows what to do about it.
- Be an effective communicator with children's caretakers and other teachers; demonstrate sensitivity and respect for the cultures of all the children in the program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
