Child Care Staff Member

Kids Zone Educational Child Care LLC is currently searching for new staff members to join our existing experienced staff. We would prefer someone with previous child care experience; however, we are willing to train the right candidate! Hired applicants would be trained in all rooms to find their best fit. We are looking for part time employees, who may choose to pick up additional hours as needed by the center. This is a great opportunity for college students! This is an afternoon only position at this time.

Requirements:

*Age 18

*High School Diploma or equivalent

*College Education or Child Development Associate preferred, not required

*Licensed Child Care experience preferred, not required

*Completion of FBI/BCI background check

*Must have medical statement signed off by licensed physician (will provide form upon hiring)

*Team player

*Consistent, punctual attendance

*First Aid, Infant/Adolescent and Adult CPR, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse and Neglect training preferred but will be provided upon hiring

All hired staff members are required to complete online orientation at the center after ALL required paperwork has been turned in.

Responsibilities

*Follow ODJFS rules and regulations for compliance

*Follow Kids Zone Educational Child Care company handbook for professionalism, ethics, and policies

*Provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age

*Implement lesson plans to meet the developmental needs of young children

*Assist in diapering and toilet training

*Assist in meal preparation and feeding of infants, meal prep and clean up for Toddlers, PreK, and School Age children

*Follow Developmentally Appropriate Practice and Guidance and Discipline techniques

*Maintaining a clean environment by following cleaning schedules in each classroom

*Attend professional development opportunities

*Attend mandatory staff meetings

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
