What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Kidz & Family Smiles?
With our busy growing family practice, the demand for help has grown. Kidz & Family Smiles takes pride in delivering superior dental care to patients in our community. We are looking to hire a hard-working and motivated Dental Assistant/receptionist to provide the highest level of care to our patients! Dental experience is recommended, but not required. We are willing to train the right person for our growing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Support clinical treatment
- Listening to patient’s needs and educating them on dental procedures
- Adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedure
- Organize and maintain lab equipment
- Review treatment notes prior to greeting patient to ensure being ready for each patient's appointment
- Greet patients and build confidence with them by explaining the treatment they'll be receiving at their appointment
- Assist our doctor during procedures
- Communicate and ensure comfort at each patient appointment
- Take appropriate x-rays as needed
- Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use

Pay: $14.40 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 35 per week
