Overview
Kidz Konnection is seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering the growth and development of children through engaging and educational activities. This role involves working with infants and young children, providing them with a safe, supportive, and stimulating atmosphere that promotes their emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage learning through play and exploration.
- Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and inclusion among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children.
- Observe children's behavior and development to identify any special needs or areas requiring additional support.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for children in the program.
EDUCATION/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state of North Carolina DCDEE
- Must pass a criminal background check and have a qualifying letter from NC DCDEE.
- SIDS certification
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Childcare Credentials
Pay based on education and experience **
Part-time and full-time hours available
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
