Description
Responsible for managing the retail operations at the main office or branch office according to Bank policy and for developing new business. Exercises executive and administrative control over the functions of the branch office.
Requirements
- Maintains customer and employee relationships
- Opens and closes the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures
- Supervises vault operations and procedures; including required entry logs
- Handles customer problems and complaints; counsels customers with special needs or requests
- Enforces bank policies at the Branch Office
- Responsible for maintaining office building, grounds, equipment and fixtures
- Supervises preparation and distribution of monthly branch reports to appropriate bank management
- Evaluates the branch operations and make recommendations to management
- Administers the safety program at the Branch
- Opens, closes and services every type of account
- Ensure monthly employee schedules are complete and sent to personnel
- Promotes the financial institution services and products to current and/or potential customers
- Tests branch security equipment and investigates security issues when needed
- Calculate and submit payroll hours to payroll clerk for all branch employees
- Represents the financial institution in community social events
- Reviews staff members for performance and recommends salary adjustments
- Provides coaching and/or counseling to employees when needed
- Coordinates staff training when needed, including monthly on-line training
- Perform all the duties and responsibilities of teller as needed
- Attends monthly Department Head Meetings
- Directly supervises employee(s) in the Branch and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
