Role Summary:
Kiln is expanding across the western United States and over the coming years will engage in numerous new Kiln site construction and build projects. In addition, Kiln will continue to upgrade and maintain its existing sites. Kiln is looking for a Procurement who will assist in Kiln’s procurement function.

- External third-party vendors/suppliers
Major Responsibilities:
- Ordering and tracking all purchases for each site from start to finish including shipping, tracking, payment, arrival to warehouse, and shipment from warehouse to end site
- Support the development and management of standard bid documentation
- Assist in recommending alternatives when items the design team has picked out are unavailable.
- Aid in soliciting bids/proposals and evaluating them for suitability based on quality, timeliness, and cost; provide input on the selection of winning bids.
- Assist in producing purchase orders and issuing relevant documentation to vendors/suppliers
- Collaborate with the team to receive, approve, and submit invoices for payment
- Maintain accurate procurement and budget records and collate information for weekly review by project team
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager or logistics provider to ensure all product is received in good working order
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager or logistics provider to transfer Kiln products/components and FF&E to Kiln site and installed at the designated time for the project
- Keep procurement schedule up to date with all information to allow for weekly reporting
- Ensure product spec, warranties, cleaning/maintenance instructions, supplier contact details, etc. are recorded/filed and available as needed by Build and Community Teams
- Assist in the installation and activation of new locations by organizing labor, schedules, and placement of FFE items
Ideal Experience and Skills:
- 1 to 2 years' experience or knowledge of procurement processes is a plus
- Passion for Interior Design
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships
