About the Role :
The Community Manager is the heartbeat of Kiln, acting as the first point of contact for members and guests. This role ensures the community runs smoothly, maintains high occupancy, and fosters a collaborative and engaging environment. The Community Manager is on-site Monday through Friday during established working hours and may occasionally work outside these hours for events or special needs.

As Community Manager, You Will :
Create & Cultivate Community
Be the welcoming face of Kiln, ensuring a warm and professional experience for members and guestsBuild relationships with members, understanding their needs and connecting them with opportunitiesManage daily community interactions, fostering engagement through thoughtful touchpointsFacilitate member onboarding, including orientations, welcome kits, and platform accessDrive Sales & Membership Growth
Serve as the first point of contact for membership inquiries, conducting tours and explaining Kilns valueManage the sales pipeline, generate proposals, and execute membership agreementsWork closely with the Community Director on pricing, negotiating strategies, and revenue growthConduct member check-ins and renewal conversations to drive retention and upsell opportunitiesEnhance Operations & Member Experience
Oversee front-desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, mail distribution, and guest managementManage the maintenance ticketing portal and liaise with janitorial staff to maintain a polished spaceEnsure seamless office move-ins and move-outs, including office inspections and space preparationMonitor and replenish site supplies, ensuring business center and marketplace needs are metCurate Events & Programming
Plan and execute community events that foster engagement and networkingOversee calendar bookings and assist with event setup and breakdownManage daily member snacks and coordinate food and beverage needs for special eventsSupport marketing efforts by promoting events and community initiatives through email, Slack, and signageAs Community Manager, Youll Need :
A warm, people-focused personality with a strong customer service mindsetExperience in hospitality, coworking, or a similar community-focused roleStrong sales acumen and comfort with outreach, tours, and closing dealsExcellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage daily operationsStrong verbal and written communication skills to engage with members and stakeholdersAbility to problem-solve and handle challenges with professionalism and efficiencyPassion for Kilns mission and values, with a desire to foster a thriving community
