Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in design
2-15 years of experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Sketchup is required
QUALIFICATIONS: PREFERRED
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D Max is a plus
Experience with FF&E procurement and specification is a plus
Knowledge of building and accessible codes
Familiarity with all phases of projects, potential issues, and proven history of producing projects
Knowledge of industry construction costs and material costs
Essential ability to prepare furniture cost estimates
Creative eye for detail in the preparation of design presentation materials

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Physical Requirements: The position requires the ability to drive a car, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, scanner, and printer. The position also requires the ability to travel to and from the office, as well as to meet with clients and colleagues outside of the office.
Work Environment: The position is located in our Annapolis office and requires the employee to be physically present at the office to perform the essential functions of the job. These functions include face-to-face interaction and coordination of work with other employees, in-person interaction with outside colleagues, clients, or customers, and immediate access to software and documents or other information located only in the office.
We are a studio-based company, and we believe that our best work is done when we are all together in the same space. This allows us to collaborate more effectively, share ideas more easily, and build stronger relationships. As a result, we do not offer and are not planning to offer a telework program, or remote or hybrid positions.
