What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Center Manager position at Kinder Academy?
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our childcare center, ensuring a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for our students.
Typical duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks to children
- Handle enrollment inquiries, follow-ups and pre-visit tours in order to build and increase enrollment
- Will report and work directly with the owner providing support in a one-on-one working relationship
- Be responsible for ensuring staff is providing an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents
- Manages accurate record keeping of staff and children files, and maintain it in an organized, up-to-date manner to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Help in classrooms when needed
- Assist with staff lunch breaks when needed
- Monitor compliance with federal & state laws both within the facility itself
- Will work in classrooms as needed to meet required ratios
Qualifications
- Has worked in a childcare setting, ideally in a supervisory role.
- High school diploma or GED required. CDA, Associates or Bachelors degree in early childhood education, or related field is highly preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
