Currently, we are looking for an experienced stock clerk to join our team in Fairfield, CT. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience with a strong emphasis on customer service and be able to work weekends as well as during the week, around 30-40 hours per week. Nights and some holidays are required.
In addition, this position is responsible for increasing guest confidence and loyalty by promoting and executing consistent operation conditions, providing courteous, knowledgeable and prompt customer service while consistently maintaining a positive shopping experience. This position offers great advancement potential for an energetic, highly-focused, results-driven individual.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both in-person and on the phone
- Must be proficient in the handling of money
- Must be over the age of 18 Years, as mandated by the State of Connecticut
- Must be able to perform long hours on their feet
- Must be able to consistently and repeatedly be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Applicants are expected to work on the days leading to all major Holidays and in some instances the day of. Major holidays include, but are not limited to Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July.
- Applicants will be expected to process payments including cash, credit, debit & gift card.
- All positions in the store will require light maintenance work, examples of which include but are not limited to cleaning, dusting, and removal of garbage.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
