King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, currently seeks a Scientific Specialist in any of the King & Spalding US-based offices. Scientific Specialist will function as part of the group integrated within King & Spalding’s Trial & Global Disputes practice.

Candidates will have the following responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive literature searches and tracking scientific literature on various scientific topics
- Critically evaluating and summarizing government regulations and scientific literature across various fields, including epidemiology, biostatistics, toxicology, and pharmacology
- Research and analysis on mechanisms, causes and risk factors for various disease states
- Critically evaluating scientific basis for claims raised in various types of toxic tort or other types of personal injury litigation and development of litigation strategies
- Expert development and coordination
Requirements:
PharmD or Master’s/PhD in Epidemiology or Biostatistics
Colorado, New York, California, Washington, D.C: The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $140,000 to $150,000. The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
