What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at KINGS BAY YM - YWHA?
All Maintenance Workers at the JCC Brooklyn Windsor Terrace location are an integral part of a team of employees responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facility and assisting in keeping the day-to-day activities for all members and staff running in a smooth and orderly fashion.
Duties include (but are not limited to) the following: assist with room setups and breakdowns; general cleaning of all areas of the facility including administrative offices, classrooms, playground, common areas, gym, auditorium, pool area, locker rooms, and restrooms; and conducting minor repairs as needed (i.e. replacing bulbs or unclogging drains).
Maintenance Workers report to the site director for daily work assignments. Expected hoursare between 15-20 hours weekly.
