What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Window Treatment Estimator position at Kings Commercial Interiors?
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and materials
- Create detailed take-offs and quantity surveys
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and GC's
- Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients
- Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Provide support to project management team as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Experience with drapery and rollershade estimating
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
