What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Tech - OPT - Retail Pharmacy position at KINGS DAUGHTERS MEDICAL CENTER?
Provides the best possible care to the customer through performance of distributive pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Assists in computer order entry, inventory control, drug preparation and drug delivery. Performs these functions and other duties as assigned under the general supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. All activity must follow State law, Federal law and
Hospital policy.
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Pharmacy Tech experience desired.
- Valid and current MS Pharmacy Technician Registration (01/01/1999) required within six(6) months of employment.

Physical demands:
- Must have good visual acuity, be able to stand for long periods, be able to work with hazardous pharmaceuticals, have good communication skills, and work various work schedules. Be able to use stairs, lift 35 pounds, push delivery carts and carry delivery baskets.
