What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at Kingscote Chemicals?
Kingscote Chemicals is a manufacturer of industrial dye products, most well known for Bright Dyes Water Tracing products. Everyone at Kingscote works toward a common goal - working as a team to serve our customers and deliver the highest quality products. We are looking to hire a Production Associate to help us increase our production capacity and better meet the needs of our customers.
Areas of Responsibility:
Manufacturing
- Prepare and mix batches of raw materials
- Create and package dye-based products
- Operate tablet presses to create dye tablets
- Operate liquid filling machine to produce liquid dye products
- Document production in the ERP software
Quality Control
- Document actual raw materials used compared to bill of materials
- Produce and maintain accurate batch records
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas
- Execute QC processes to ensure the quality of finished goods
Shipping and Receiving
- Receive incoming raw materials
- Keep warehouse organized with finished goods
- Help prepare orders for shipment

Our ideal candidate will have these qualifications:
Education:
- At least a high school diploma or GED
Skills:
- Basic to Intermediate computer skills
- Operate a scale
- Work with fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Read, write, listen, and speak clearly
Machinery Experience:
- Required: Forklift operation (forklift certification is preferred)
- Preferred: Tablet press, Liquid filling machine
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
