Director of Technology

Kingsview Partners Wealth Management
Fairfield, CT Full Time
POSTED ON 8/5/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/5/2025

This is the perfect opportunity for a technology leader who thrives on building, integrating, and securing systems from the ground up — and who wants a long-term career path that leads to the top of the organization with the potential to ultimately grow into a larger role.

If you’re looking for a place to make a real impact — shaping the infrastructure, security, and tech culture of a rapidly growing national RIA — this is your seat at the table.

Who We Are:

Kingsview Wealth Management is a fast-growing independent advisory partnership offering clients financial planning, investment management, tax, and insurance services. Over the last few years, we've expanded rapidly, serving thousands of clients while establishing a nationwide footprint. We are building for scale, and technology is at the center of that mission.

Overview:

Imagine leading technology for a national wealth management firm where no two days are the same. As Director of Technology, you’ll take ownership of projects spanning from rolling out a firmwide data lake to designing an integrated advisor tech stack, strengthening our cybersecurity posture, and building out further depth for our existing internal help desk.

You will partner with leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to make sure technology is a competitive advantage for Kingsview — not just a utility. This role is hands-on, strategic, and critical to our future. And as the firm grows, so will you — this position is intentionally designed for a technology leader that wants to grow along with the firm.

The Opportunity:

You’ll have full visibility across the business, influence decisions at the executive level, and help shape how technology serves our advisors, clients, and staff.

This isn’t a job where you simply inherit a playbook — you will collaborate with the executive team to write it. From infrastructure to integrations, security to support, your work will touch every corner of Kingsview’s operations.

For the right person, this is a career-defining opportunity:

  • Build the foundation now as Director of Technology.
  • Grow your experience and responsibility along with the firm.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading technology projects from concept to completion in a professional services, financial services, or similarly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Data architecture and management (data lakes, warehouses, APIs)
  • Systems integration and platform optimization
  • Cybersecurity strategy and compliance best practices
  • IT infrastructure and help desk creation/management
  • Strong vendor management skills and ability to negotiate and oversee third-party relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to explain complex tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A builder’s mentality — you can work strategically but aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.
  • Leadership potential and ambition.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Kingsview’s integrated advisor technology platform.
  • Architect and roll out a centralized data lake for firmwide reporting and analytics.
  • Further develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive client and firm data.
  • Create and manage an internal help desk function to provide timely, effective tech support across the organization.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage vendor relationships to ensure we have best-in-class tools and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align technology initiatives with the firm’s growth strategy.
  • Prepare the technology team for long-term scalability and innovation.

Why Kingsview Wealth Management:

Kingsview is a different kind of firm, and we’re proud of that. We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the advisor and client experience. From unmatched service to innovative thinking, it’s our people that make the Kingsview purpose possible.

We offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
  • Retirement and healthcare benefits
  • A seat at the table in shaping a national firm’s technology future

Our emphasis on personal and professional growth has yielded an amazing work environment, but in the end, it’s not the perks that keep people here. They stay because they believe in our mission of service—our team wants to make a difference in an industry that can do better.
