Associate Project Engineers Needed Now!
Do you have solid skills in wiring electrical panels or control panels? Experienced with Hand Tools? Build to print experience as well?
Then you might be our next Project Technician at the Kirby Risk Service Center in Lafayette.
What will I do as a Project Technician?
Assemble electric control panels to customer prints and specifications.
Use standard panel assembly tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, wire strippers, etc.)
Read prints and a tape measure (metric and English)
Communicate instructions to other team members
Want to know if you are a good fit? If so, you will meet the following criteria:
Associates Degree in a technical field or 3 years of relevant work experience
Understanding of business operations and processes
Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude
Read a metric and standard tape measure
Read and interpret a blueprint and/or wire schematic
What are some of the Physical Requirements?
Ability to push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
Walk plant floor
Ability to stand and work with arms at or above shoulder height for extended periods
Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
Use hands repetitively to operate, finger, handle or feel standard office equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
What is the schedule?
7 AM to 4 PM.
Infrequent OT is a possibility based on customer urgency
No travel
