Cell Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary

The Cell Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating assembly equipment as assigned. This role requires following work instructions, loading/unloading parts, and performing manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations. The ideal candidate will ensure quality and quantities of parts meet required specifications and production rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.
• Follow work instructions as outlined in Standard Operation Sheets (SOS) and Job Element Sheets (JES).
• Loading/unloading parts in/out of welders, dies, trunions, and/or assembly fixtures.
• Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and/or rivets together parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.

Requirements:

• No minimum experience is required.
• Ability to read and demonstrate understanding of documents such as safety rules, work instructions, maintenance instructions, employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to apply basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; ability to round numbers and calculate averages.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and sound judgment to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
