Sign On Bonus- $2500
Full Time and Part Time Schedules Available
Day Shift is 7a-7:30p
Night Shift is 7p-7:30a
The Registered Nurse provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service plan and physician’s orders.
What will I do every day?
- You will monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition
- Effectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basis
- Assess residents to identify their physical, psycho social and environmental needs
- Communicate, identify, report and document problems
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
- Identify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident
- Document evaluation f nursing interventions including resident response
- Assess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plans
- Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Director of Nursing
- Assist with Medication Management Program
- Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
- Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates
- As well as perform other related duties as required
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- Be a graduate of an accredited RN program
- Have a minimum of one-year experience as a nurse in a senior care setting
- Have some Skilled Nursing experience
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- Current active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Hands on experience with ports and Huber needles a plus
- Experience in wound care
- Experience with Point Click Care
