• Pay Range (Approximate): $15.00 - $24.00 per hour (※Range Includes Tips)
• Payrate: $13.00/hour tips

※Opportunities for advancement up to Kitchen Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Restaurant General Manager will be available.

Job Description Summary

Mensyoku USA Inc. is seeking friendly, efficient, and energetic Restaurant Waitstaff Servers to join our team. The Server will be responsible for taking guest orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Server will report directly to the restaurant management and leadership staff and will be responsible for creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

· Greet guests, take orders, and answer questions about menu items

· Provide recommendations to guests regarding menu items and specials

· Promote menu items and suggest add-ons to increase sales

· Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared to guest specifications

· Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner

· Anticipate guest’s needs and ensure a positive dining experience

· Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner

· Remove dishes promptly as guests complete each course.

· Monitor table turnover and maintain efficient service

· Ensure that tables and dining areas are clean and tidy

· Process guest payments and handle cash and credit card transactions

· Follow all health and safety regulations

· Notify management of unsafe conditions, accidents, and needed maintenance of tables, chairs, or equipment.

· Uphold the integrity of the company’s brand name and brand image

Qualifications

· Preferred but not required: At least 1 year of experience as a Server in a restaurant setting

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment in a professional manner

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

· Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation

· Familiarity with POS systems, as well as credit card and cash handling

· Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

· Food Handler certification and Responsible Beverage Server certification will be needed. Training will be provided if not in possession of valid certification.

Our expansion into the US began in 2014 when we opened our first location in Costa Mesa, CA. Since our opening, we have received great feedback and support from many customers and have been fortunate to open several more locations with more planned soon. As we continue our expansion, we need enthusiastic people with good energy who genuinely enjoy making people smile!!
