At Kitsap Credit Union, we're not just building a data platform-we're launching a modern, cloud-native ecosystem designed to drive real-time insights, generative AI, and trusted analytics across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Data and Software Engineering, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of our Azure-based platform using tools like Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Factory. But we're not stopping there. To help you move fast and smart, you'll have full access to GitHub CoPilot (powered by Agentic AI), GitHub Advanced Security, and whatever else you need to bring your best work to life.

Principal Accountabilities
- Designs and implements robust ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks (Spark/PySpark), and Delta Lake.
- Collect data from various sources, including databases, APIs, external data providers, and streaming sources.
- Owns data product delivery, documentation, and monitoring for assigned pipelines and applications.
- Matures the DevOps practice by implementing and monitoring observability tooling to track pipeline performance, system health, test automation, and data freshness.
- Ensures systems under ownership meet audit-readiness, compliance, and data governance requirements.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists.
- Translates business needs into high-impact, scalable, trustworthy data solutions that drive actionable insights and member-facing outcomes.
