- Oversee receiving, warehouse operations & distribution
- Implement Operational Policies & Procedures
- Utilize forklift, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
- Ensure safety of staff
- Motivate and hold accountability of staff
- Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Inventor, auditing, cycle counting
- Working with a cross functional department
- Process orders
- Operating mechanical and IT systems.
- Liaising with transport companies, suppliers and clients.
- Training, supervising and appraising staff
- Maintaining statistical and financial records
- Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
- Managing budgets
- 2 years Order Fulfillment Lead experience minimum
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred, but not required.
- Must meet Kiva's Motor Vehicle Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and safety rules, such as operation and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Frequently required to stand, walk or sit
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Frequently required to repeat movements
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, twist, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually required to talk or hear and use visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information and use a keyboard
- Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts
- Frequently exposed to loud noise (examples: forklifts, large trucks)
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, sit-down electric powered lift trucks, hand trucks and lift-gates
- Frequently required to stand, walk or sit
